Deposits...

By paying a deposit to secure a booking finalizes that you have read, understood & agree to all the below terms on conditions on this website.

 

A deposit is taken to secure a booking in my diary, this can be done by bank transfer or PayPal.

 

Dates/times cannot be reserved.

 

Your deposit is deducted from your outstanding booking amount.

 

Deposits are non refundable.

 

At discretion and my diaries availability the deposit is transferable once. deposits cannot be transferred between different clients.

Booking contracts...

Once your deposit has landed - Success! You're secured in my diary. I will then ask for contact details and confirmation of address, time and any other important information needed for your booking form contract. This will also show a breakdown of the booking along side your quote and outstanding payment - it's important you double check it's correct. Along with your booking form will be information on how to prep for your appointment.

Event Disclosure...​

If a booking is made under the premise that is it not for a wedding event, but upon arrival it is determined that the event is indeed a wedding, the makeup artist (Alexzandra Artistry or hired staff) reserves the right to:

​

- Charge an additional fee: An additional wedding surcharge may be applied to the original agreed-upon price. The surcharge will be the difference between the 'occasion service' price list and the 'bridal/party' service price list.

- Cancel the booking: If the clients insists on the booking being for a non-wedding event, the makeup artist (Alexzandra Artistry or hired staff) reserves the right to terminate services at any time without a refund and leave the event. The client will also be liable for any outstanding payments that are due.

- Reschedule: In some cases the makeup artist may choose to reschedule the booking, subject to availability and any additional charges will apply.

Before your appointment...9+

Where possible it's better for me to apply makeup in a room with good natural lighting or a well-lit up area with wall/ceiling lights.

​

If you could provide an area for me to set up my kit and have an accessible plug socket for my extension lead please - that's always appreciated. 

​

Please be ready for your appointment by being 'Make up free' as this saves a lot of time and means I can get started straight away with your skin care.

​

Hair appointments - Please, where possible, wash your hair no later than the morning before, unless at different plan was discussed at your consultation.

​

Travel Charge...

A travel charge is added onto any booking above a 25 mile radius of the SS8 postcode (Canvey Island) this is charged at 50p per mile and is priced on the mileage of a return trip. Toll charges are also added onto your appointment booking.

 

Please make me aware of any parking or permit charges prior as these are prepaid.

Confirming Your Appointment...

I always contact my clients within a 48 hour period prior to your booking. If I don't get any response I will assume you no longer need that appointment, and I will offer that booking time to the next in line on my cancellation list.

Hair Charges...

A charge of £10+ is added to any hair styling appointment for anyone with extra long/thick hair or if you have hair extensions. A very detailed hair style can also occur this charge. This is due to adding time onto an appointment.

​

Hair extensions must be prepped and be in good condition ready to style. You'll need your hair dresser to cut these into your hair prior to your booking.

Client Cancellations...

Clients who cancel less than 24 hours prior to their appointment will be asked to pay 50% of the outstanding balance by transfer or PayPal. (This doesn't include bridal bookings, see below)

Any group bookings (groups of 3+) for Occasion is required to pay the original agreed outstanding balance in full even if a member of your party decides to cancel.

On the day 'add-on's'...

If a friend/family or colleague wishes to request a service from me/staff on the day, this is done at my discretion. The original party members take priority on my timing schedule. Payment is taken up front if I can confirm there being time too add a service onto the live booking.

Lashes can be decided on the day and paid for on the day.

​

Destination Bookings...

Do I travel to destination bookings? Yes!

​

I love to travel and can cater for you and your bridal/party.

​

On top of your hair/makeup quote, one/two nights accommodation, travel costs, transfers, extra luggage, meals and insurance are added to all destination quotes.

​

Outstanding Balance...

Your outstanding amount is due at the end of your appointment by bank transfer, PayPal or cash.

​

Weddings: The date for the outstanding amount that due is agreed at consultation. The outstanding about is always due priory to your wedding day. If you paying by cash this  is taken on our arrival.

 

Any appointments being paid by transfer or PayPal please have these details already set up to go on your phone prior to your appointment. They are the same details used to pay your deposit.

Age 16 & under...

Anyone under the age of 16 needs to have a responsible adult attend their appointment with them and stay throughout.

​

Lashes...

I can apply strip lashes that you provide for free as long as they are brand new in packaging and un-opened. The lashes I provide are all brand new high quality brands and I carry a range of natural to dramatic in my kit for you to choose from.

​

Assistant Charges...

Larger bookings may require me to book an assistant to be able to meet your time scale needs, this will occur and extra charge on your booking.

Client Responsibility...

It's the clients responsibility to inform myself of any allergies, sensitivity or medical conditions that can be affected by your booked service. 'Alexzandra Artistry' cannot be held liable for any losses that are incurred within a booking due to the client’s failing to inform me of any known condition/s to all party members.

Alexzandra Artistry reserves the right to refuse service to a client or member/s of the booked party if there is any show of infectious conditions. The outstanding payment will still need to be paid in full.

​

Alexzandra Artistry has a zero tolerance to inappropriate, abusive, threatening behaviour or language and has the right to leave immediately. In this case any deposits or outstanding payments that Alexzandra has recieved prior will not be refunded. If you have an outstanding payment due this will still need paying. 

​

Limitation of Liability...

Alexzandra Artistry has no liability for any third-party (product/service) whatsoever regardless of cause, even if it has been recommended.

​

 

Kit & Tool Usage...

Alexzandra Artistry's tools & kit are for to be used on her booked clients only. Its Alexandra's discretion to offer usage of her kit to booked clients. Alexzandra Artistry reserves the right to refuse the use of her products/tools to members of the public that are not booked in for a service.

​

In the unfortunate event that my kit is damaged/used without consent by yourself or your party/child - you may receive an invoice for each item damaged/used.

​

Photography..

By agreeing to let Alexzandra Artistry takes images/videos you agree to those being used for publicity purposes which include but are not limited to Alexzandra Artistry's website and social media pages. 

​

No wedding makeup/hair styling session or wedding pictures will appear on social media prior to the wedding.

 

I am happy for your photographer to take pictures of me at work, I do ask that you credit such photos.

Extra Information...

Paperless..

Since 2020 I decided to go paperless as much as I possibly can. The only paperwork I print are wedding day schedules (if needed) and if anything is requested to be printed by a client.

​

Minimum booking...

There is no minimum booking requirements for any type of booking.

​

Eyes Only...

I do not currently offer an 'Eyes Only' application service.

​

Group Discounts...

I do not currently offer group discounts. 

​

Cancellation List...

I have an ongoing cancellation list in place for busy periods, this doesn't guarantee you a appointment with myself. I will get in contact with you if your desired time/date becomes available.

Prices...

Prices are subject to change.

​

If you have been given a quote, your deposit has been paid to secure your booking and my prices were to change then your booking will not be affected.

​

Please note my prices are competitive for the experience, quality of work, service and range of products in my kit. Prices also include time for travel, unsociable hours, correspondence and paperwork.

​

If you have been given a quote and have NOT paid the deposit to secure the booking - If my prices were to change, your quote will be honored for 2 days only. After that time frame the original quote will be invalid and you will be charged at the new prices.

​

Insurance...

I am a fully insured by as a Makeup Artist and Hairstylist. Paperwork available on request.

​

All electricals in my kit are PAT tested. Paperwork available on request.
